JIS G3458 Alloy Steel Pipes. 

1. Scope

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the alloy steel pipes, hereinafter referred to as the “pipes”, mainly used form high temperature service.


  1. The purchaser may designate in addition to the items specified in this text, by prior agreement with the manufacturer, part or all of the items in the supplementary quality requirements given in Annex 1 (normative)
  2. The International Standard corresponding to this standard is as follows.

In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD(modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC guide 21.
